We have currently have two different ways for people to access withBread.Ventures. Avent and Venture Families.

​

AVENT 

​​​​

​​​​​​The Avent is a quarterly gathering place online and in person where we will enjoy God’s presence in the context of the marketplace. This will be a place to enjoy the values of Wild Rest and withBread.Ventures, to be part of a community, to be encouraged in your dreaming with God, hearing from different people who are carrying God into the market place in different ways. This monthly family will be the launching place for people to join Venture Families (see below).

On 7th February we welcome you to our Basecamp at Paimelantie 265 Kalliola for a brunch at 11:00 followed by times or worship, personal ministry and prayer as we seek release in "Finland's economy as in heaven". This starts by the individual believer having a hope injection and a stepping into the favour that has been mandated to us by the cross. An offering will be taken to cover costs. Please use the form to register your place. We will also be welcoming people online.

 

​​​​VENTURE FAMILIES

Venture Families is a dedicated programme for anyone who wants to create a new business or who has already started a venture in the context of being part of a dynamic family of co-builders.

​

Venture Families is for people who are in a season where they are investing in the building of God birthed business ventures. You might be at the very start but you have an identifiable foundation to start building on. It is for people who carry the values of withBread because they have been part of Avent, Wild Rest and undertaken the Foundations Course. Ventures Families is by nature a community endeavour. We cannot walk out our God given dreams in isolation. We will role our Venture Familes on an ad hoc basis as people come through Avent and Wild Rest.

 

We may suggest you join an existing group (because there is Spirit led compatibility of ideas and people) or we may create a new group.  Your cohort are your Co-Founders! You are the Vision Bearer of your venture, will maintain intellectual property rights to your idea, however your cohort are your team and they will help you to go the distance. Some of your cohort may even become future business partners. It is even possible that your co-hort becomes one business with multiple expressions. Everything is possible!  We are aiming to be able to financially invest in ventures that come forth from Cohorts. We literally want to become a family of businesses.

 

We are living in truly remarkable days of opportunity and hope, and it is my strong conviction that there is going to an anointing upon our small of band of entrepreneurs to create beautiful and success filled enterprises.

 

We currently have one active Venture Family with a variety of ventures being birthed.

Why the name withBread.ventures?

 ​​​​​The word company derives from latin Cum Panis which means "with bread". Merchants would meet and discuss their business plans over dinner ("with bread") and eventually their ventures were named for the dinner meetings. An 1872 book on grammar lists two words in its glossary that come from "cum panis":

companion: a sharer of food, a comrade, fellow-traveller, partner

company: association, a number of partners

​

The word "corporation" derives from corpus, the Latin word for body, or a "body of people." 

​

Companies are all about the people in them. Despite, the law separating the legal personality of the company from its people, in reality they should not be separate entities.  Dreams, ideas and innovations are formed together when people sit down together and  share bread. Their collective vision and adventure becomes the company. The people literally form the company, they are the company. All too often the company becomes something different to what the initial vision bearers carried. People begin to serve the company rather than their dream, innovation or heart.

Business acumen, heavenly intelligence, a winning team, passion, your unique and growing skills. Provenance is key.

 

#knead your vision

Teaching, discipling, sparing, community, coaching and opportunities for counselling-purifying the mix.

 

#punch down and turn your dough

Iron sharpens iron. Agility, adaptation willingness to pivot, understanding your market’s needs. Hard work. Proving the concept. Understanding the “kairos” timing.

 

#shape your dough

Building a minimal viable product. Market and Kingdom intelligence is key.

 

#leave you to Rise

Trusting that the above process brings about glorious results. Catching the rising winds of Holy Spirit. Pressing into God, His presence, word and empowerment. It has all been paid for through the cross and resurrection of Jesus!

Bring heat to your product and service. Will it stand the test of fire? Will it rise to the challenge? Piloting, testing, appraisal and pitching.

 

#sell your bread. 

From the beginning we will be very mindful of this, but now we go to market and we sell each other’s bread! Identify which supply channels we need our bread to find.

 

#help you make “loads of dough”

Automation of your “bakery line” so that you can make recurring revenue. How to deliver “artisanal” quality in larger batches.
